Rick Schelhas Are you familiar with the term “First World Problems”? You know, when your car seat heaters don’t turn on with your remote car starter and it kind of ruins your day. Or when your favorite movie streams in a format that will only fill 78 inches of your 85 inch TV. (Not sure I can go on living when that happens.) Those are the kind of “problems” some of us actually spend quality time on trying to resolve. But imagine this. You’re sitting in front of your 85” TV aggravated by the dead space on [...]

Are Diabetic Shoes the Answer You’ve Been Searching For?

By | 2018-09-18T12:36:18+00:00 September 18th, 2018|Julee Brown|0 Comments

When should you get a flu shot? And how do they know if the vaccine is even going to [...]

Hawaii To Ban Sunscreen, Kinda…

By | 2018-07-10T20:38:10+00:00 July 3rd, 2018|Rick Schelhas|0 Comments

Rick Schelhas Yup! You read that right. The Hawaii State legislator has actually approved a bill that would ban the use of over 3,500 brands of sunscreen at their beaches. According to State Senator Mike Gabbard this is the first ban of its kind anywhere in the world. The obvious reaction to that is something like, "Wait! What?, Why??" Well, according to researchers, two of the ingredients found in most sunscreens, oxybenzone and octinoxate are linked to the death of the worlds coral reefs. While the legislators are certainly not advocating for anyone to consider not [...]
