The ADC® Adtemp™ 427 TempleTouch™ Digital Thermometer provides fast, convenient body temperature measurements using advanced conductive sensing technology. Unlike infrared thermometers, the Adtemp™ 427 uses a temperature-sensitive probe that makes gentle contact with the skin. Its conductive technology measures heat transfer at the temple and converts that information into a body temperature reading.

Important Information:
This is a contact-based temple thermometer. The sensor must be placed gently but firmly against the skin at the temple to obtain a reading. It is not a non-contact infrared thermometer.
For accurate measurements, position the probe between the eyebrow and hairline on a clean, dry forehead. Remove hair and perspiration from the measurement area before use.
Follow the manufacturer’s directions for correct placement and allow approximately one minute between consecutive measurements.
Clean the probe with 70% isopropyl alcohol before and after use, allowing it to readjust to room temperature before the next measurement. Do not submerge the thermometer in water or other liquids.
Temperature measurements may be affected by ambient conditions, exercise, skin temperature, and improper probe placement.
The thermometer should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosing or ruling out illness. Consult a healthcare professional when temperature readings or symptoms raise concerns.
Keep the thermometer and its lithium coin battery away from unsupervised children. Swallowing a coin battery can cause severe internal injury.
