2018 has been a year of change and growth for Watkins Pharmacy & Surgical Supply and we are thankful that you have been along for the ride with us. So many things have happened this year from changing wholesalers to a Health Mart Independent Pharmacy which brought along so many more opportunities for us so we can expand our offerings to you. We have also added quite a few products to our inventory. Please enjoy this highlight of our favorites products.
Pure Expression Breast Pumps – We added two different models of breast pumps to our product line. The Pure Expressions Dual Channel Electric Breast Pump mimics a baby’s natural nursing rhythm and suckling pattern. Excellence matters when it comes to you and your baby. Our standard model is covered by most insurance companies.
iWalk 2.0 – The iWALK 2.0 is the award winning crutch and knee scooter alternative for all below knee injuries. It gives you hands-free / pain-free mobility and gives you back the ability to live a functional, independent lifestyle. Golden Technology Scooters – Watkins Surgical Supply has carried the Golden Technology Lift Chairs for years and many loyal customers take full advantage of our semi-quarterly sales on the lift chairs. We have expanded our Golden Technology line to include their scooters this year. Golden Technology takes all the worry out of purchasing a scooter. Their skilled designers blend the most technically advanced components with superior designs to provide you with the utmost in quality, comfort, style and performance. Stop in to try one of their scooters.
Guardian Medical Monitoring – In November, we partnered with Guardian Medical Monitoring to offer two of their products. The first one is their Basic Home Help Button (aka PERS), a call button that will immediately connect your loved one with a call center to get them a loved one or emergency services. The second product is their Medication Dispenser for family members living on their own who require help remembering to take their medications.
Dr Comfort Diabetic Shoes – We have offered diabetic shoes through TenderFeet for years so this year we have expanded our offerings to include Dr. Comfort brand shoes. We now carry both brands with the same one-on-one fitting services to ensure you have the perfect fit. Dr. Comfort Diabetic Shoes offers more style options from tennis shoes, work boots and dress shoes. They also offer sandals and slippers; however, these two styles are not covered by insurance.
With the desire to give back we are offering two chances to support the community with our participation in Wood TV 8’s Angel Tree and The Kids Food Basket. We have a few tags left for the Angel Tree and we are accepting donations through December 9th. Please stop in and grab a tag, buy a gift to fit the tag and return it to any Angel Tree donation site.
The Kids Food Basket will be a year-long collection community service project. We hope to assist this program in providing lunches and dinners for the children in our area by bringing in extra groceries throughout the year.
