The Metrex CaviWipes® Disinfecting Towelettes provide convenient, effective cleaning and disinfection for healthcare facilities, medical offices, dental practices, pharmacies, and other professional environments. These premoistened, alcohol-based disinfectant wipes combine cleaning and antimicrobial activity to help maintain hygienic treatment areas and frequently touched surfaces.
CaviWipes® are EPA-registered, intermediate-level disinfectant wipes designed for use on compatible hard, nonporous surfaces and noncritical medical equipment. Their broad-spectrum formula provides bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, and tuberculocidal activity against specified microorganisms when used according to the manufacturer’s label instructions.
The disinfectant is effective against listed organisms, including the tuberculosis test organism, in 3 minutes. Certain additional pathogens, including MRSA, VRE, HIV-1, hepatitis B virus (HBV), and hepatitis C virus (HCV), have a 2-minute contact time.
Each canister contains 160 durable, nonwoven wipes measuring 6 inches by 6.75 inches. The convenient dispensing system provides easy access to individual wipes, while the durable, nonabrasive material resists bunching and tearing during routine cleaning.
